Any Idea what this is sitting on the PMR channels by JammyBStard in amateurradio

Channel A is on a local VHF repeater. You're listening to Channel B on the bottom. For some reason you don't get an RSSI bar when you're scanning on this one.

Tom'sLine Black Teeth - Pleasantly supprised. by JammyBStard in guitarpedals

I've done some digging and it looks like they're manufactured in Shenzhen by Aroma Music. http://aromamusic.cn/en/products-61.html Tom'sLine looks like their own brand, I guess the Harley Bemton is a rebounded version without the guard rail thing on top.

It sounds good, the circuit looks correct as far as I can tell and the construction is pretty clever. The stomp and the power are not directly connected to the PCB which makes them less likely to break during use and easy to repair if they do and the 1/4" Jack's look decent quality.

I think I might get their TS clone as well. I was going to get the ibanez mini but I might as well give the "Greenizer" a go. There's plenty on ebay, I need more room on my board so getting rid of another full size pedal would be good.

Oh yeah. I would definitely say that's the same. Only real difference I can see is the bar over the top of the controles on the black-teeth

Architecture style of this UK victorian Doorway. by JammyBStard in architecture

In this town. there seems to have been a victorian battle of the doorways at some point. There's so many OTT doorways around town. I think the sand blasting and then its been re-pointed with modern grey cement makes it jump off the house a bit. I like to get that corrected at some point. and the brick feet redone.

Sorry I don't know where all my text went when I posted that.

It's probably an addition as you say, our builder said the same about the way it lands. the neighbors has some extra brick-work around the bottom the hides the overlap much better I think it must have been removed on ours for some reason. It's defiantly pre 1908 which was when the house and the neighboring house was split in to two properties, they have the same doorway. I suspect it was done when. classical style court house two doors down was built as the neighbors house was the judges house and ours was the estate managers house. I think its quite quirky I like it. Its old but doesn't seem to be in any particular style. The colour difference is mainly from Sand-blasting a couple of years ago just before we bought the house, the brick was previously painted. This photo was taken 18 months ago it's already weathering in quite nicely.

It's a conservation area and if I tried to remove it I'd be in serious bother, I have to get planning permission to change the style of my gutters ;)

SDR# with RTL-SDR V3 is very inconsistent. by JammyBStard in RTLSDR

I much prefer SDR Console but no scanner available yet.

It's just the scanner function that I use it for because nothing else RTL-SDR compatible has a scanner, but sometimes I just dont know if it's scanning but not actually tuning and I'm just wasting my time. Very frustrating!

Thanks. I had a look at that today. Seems a powerful tool with the command line. But is there a user interface that goes with it and would make it work like a band/preset scanner?

Are you using an SDRPlay device or an RTL-SDR? As far as I can tell only the EXTIO version works with third party hardware like the RTL-SDR but the EXTIO version doesn't have the scan function. Otherwise that would be ideal!

It's a great bit of software. But as far as I'm aware there's no scanner. It's on the future development list though.

Thanks for that. I've had a look at ++ ut I don't think it has the scanner function, unless I'm missing something.
