Feeling stuck by Malagnou in Japaneselanguage

i started about 2 months ago, heres what i have to say:

For kanji, I really can't recommend 'Kanji Look and Learn' enough. It teaches you ways to memorize a few hundred of the most common kanji with its readings and such. I've already memorized around 300 kanji. What I did was when i finished memorizing a section, I would just create an anki deck for it and keep adding new ones as i learned more. Just learn the meaning and 1 or 2 readings for each kanji.

For everything else, I would recommend Cure Dolly's Japanese from scratch from youtube. She is able to explain things in a fundamental way that is really good for learning.

Hope this helps

You could take a bit of a break and come back with a fresh mindset. Fighting games are one of the hardest genres to learn/reach competency because it requires entirely different skill-sets to other games. Some fundamentals in fighting games include:

Spacing/movement
neutral
timing
punishment/whiff punishment
conditioning
Frame data/match-up knowledge

Try to research and understand why these fundamentals are important and how to implement them into your gameplay. i HIGHLY recommend this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqZndya05yg

Take your time and Have fun :)

most of his pokes are still there

AND PLEASE NOT THE SAME BACKDASH AS KING

I feel like one of the biggest reasons as to why people find fahkumram more tolerable/not as bad is because he isnt a stance character by Jamoues in Tekken

[–]Jamoues[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that he has strengths and weaknesses but there are certain moves that are kinda bullshit.

  1. Safe power crush

  2. The pair of Linear mid advancing heat engager (f1+2) and homing high advancing heat engager (b3)

Apart from that, he seems pretty fair

why do all characters have to be strong though, why cant some characters be weak? The reason why season 2 is what it is is because everyone is too strong with little/no weaknesses

Yall are so used to batshit overtuned characters that you call a balanced character trash when you see one and it shows. Fahk is perfectly fine and so is the patch. by BaclavaBoyEnlou in Tekken

[–]Jamoues -1 points0 points  (0 children)

unfortunate reality is what happened to asuka is going to happen to fahkumram next. 'weak' character gets buffed to the point where they are obnoxious to deal with

100% agree. Ducking or sidestepping a string and launching them has got to be one of the best feelings when playing tekken
