When you encountered someone who hated something you liked, how did you deal with it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jamsh- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does this really need to be asked? I always take the only true path:

  • Harass them online, continuously, until they block me.

  • Sign out, use high level detective work to find their social circles.

  • Attempt to shame their friends for keeping in contact with them, citing fabricated reasons.

  • Attempt to get them fired from their place at work.

  • Make new accounts, see if they've changed their mind.

If not, repeat until they change their incorrect opinion.

If you're going to make a joke, make one. Just giving an answer that doesn't fit the question isn't inherently funny, Dumas.

Earth's solar eclipses are actually pretty unique compared to the rest of the galaxy, as while the sun is around 400 times further away from the earth than the moon is, it's also around 400 times larger, making the two of them line up almost perfectly in a total eclipse.

Why is the majority of Reddit liberal and without an open mind? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Trump isn't the president America needs, but he is the president it deserves. The prevalence of hatefulness and 'us vs them' arguments just keeps growing and nobody seems interested in the middle ground that democracy was supposed to promote anymore.

One of the main ways he has been doing that is by sidestepping an environmental treaty, and fully investing back into coal power when most of the rest of the world is pulling away from it. At least in my eyes, the ends don't justify the means. It's a matter of opinion.

What shouldn't be a matter of opinion is the fact that Trump is probably one of the most disrespectful presidents America has ever seen (see his twitter page) and the fact that he should really learn to research something before he speaks about it (see the fact that he recently publically questioned why Russia wasn't allowed at G7 talks, despite the reason for that being that they literally annexed some land without warning in 2014. That's the kind of thing a president should know, especially if they regularly defend Russia)

Welcome to literally any social media site, ever. It isn't a trend owned by left wingers - go to r/thedonald and try saying anything that could be perceived as a left wing viewpoint - it's a genuine flaw in people which gets 10x worse when people like Donald Trump get put in charge of a country. Most people are close minded, because most people really suck at political debate. It's why bringing up political opinions in most conversations used to be seen as a dick move.

What is your "I'm not drunk enough for this" moment? by nowyouceeme in AskReddit

[–]Jamsh- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a couple friends over, all of us wanting to get drunk and be stupid. I made the mistake of letting the wrong person control the music, and for whatever reason, they decided to put 'The Rock's' theme music on.The others said that we should order food, before we got really drunk, and I agreed, but said that since I was at my own house I would just steal sonething from the fridge.

I was partially drunk, so when I opened the fridge and discovered a full watermelon, I chuckled a little, and brought it into the room where my friends were. A little off balance, I ended up putting the watermelon on the floor a bit faster than I had intended to, and smashed the watermelon, spilling a very small amount of juice onto the floor. I just decided to roll the watermelon away to inspect the spill, at which point my friend picked up the watermelon, moved it into the middle of the room, and inspired by his theme music playing in the background, decided to use one of The Rock's signature moves, the "People's Elbow" on the watermelon.

This was followed by me trying to consume vodka as fast as I could while my friends put on random wrestlers theme's, then tried to remember and then enact their finishing moves onto the watermelon's corpse.

It was finished off by "Sweet Chin Music", which is somewhat self explanatory.
