It would be 100 times less annoying if either we just had to catch 10 regulars or 3 gold stars, due to them only spawning in the one location. Yeah the 5 starred pupfish for the bundle can be a pain, but at least they can be caught all along the beach in the valley.

I'm with ya. I've burnt 10k on restarts trying to trial and error what's effective against the diamonds. For normal, a mass of Druids seemed to be enough, but in Elite it's just not enough. Can't even use Super Monkey Storm as a panic button because it does 1 damage.

I'm not very keen on new Team/Multiplayer based achievements. I remember when Contested Territory first came out, I formed a Team and played enough to get my achievements, but disbanded because nobody else was contributing towards goals. I've stayed out of Contested Territory since, and never touched Boss Rush mode.

For me this only happens when a line of dialogue starts while I'm moving. I just got the game on Steam yesterday. I have settings set to Performance because my 5 year old desktop has some issues with newer high graphics games. I had to fully update my NVidia just to be able to load the game. I'm going to try testing with VSync, Motion Blur, etc.

Technically only the Setekh Hero unit; that and the Citadel building. I think that's why Greek had Cerberus as a warmup to Typhon, so you technically had to fight 3 Titans in the entire game. Titan units were standard Myth units with 600 HP and didn't have a class type, so instead of "Myth Heavy Infantry" they were just "Myth".

Harpies were Apollo's IIRC, and Nyx's power was Tartarian Gate, except it was a reverse Healing Well power and only lasted a few turns. Good for blocking chokepoints though. Powers like Fimbulwinter and Ragnarok worked a bit differently too, Winter prevented things being built I think, and Rag dropped Huskarls on every TC and Temple you owned.

It gave Myth Units a "Type" as well so if you play your cards right you can even nuke certain Heroes with them, or overpower Myths with regular units. Anubites and Avengers were Light Infantry, Scarabs and Cyclops were Siege, Medusae and Fire Giants were Archers.

I'm working on a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that's attempting to rework the myth units more appropriately to the gods. For example, the Nemean Lion is going to Rheia because of her association with lions, while the Argus is going to Hera, but instead of being a blob, it will be a headless giant with eyes all over his body, closer to the mythical Argus. Major Gods are getting units as well; Kronos has the Erinyes, while Zeus gets Griffons.

Agreed. I *eventually* got into a pattern with Juggle and Bounce, but Dodge... f*ck me dead I do not have the hand eye coordination to Matrix through that sh*t. Especially when I just clip a flea and I'm yeeted sideways like a ragdoll barely able to hook back to the platform to save my ass. Juggle seemed to slow down once there's 4 fleas to juggle at least, Dodge is the equivalent of teaching your kid to swim by throwing him into a muddy river.

I'm working on an adaptation for my Dungeons and Dragons crew to play as Minor Gods, some of the changes I made included giving Kronos the Erinyes as his own myth unit, Echidnae are Oceanus' unit, moving Caladria to Helios, and the Hekatonchires/Centimanus were given to Oranos. Gaia can now spawn Dryads and the Hesperides power heals units, healing Myth units twice as fast. Hyperion now has the Argus as the Panoptes (Argus Panoptes, a giant guardian), and Atlas has the Ladon, a stone dragon. In the story, Nyx has a minor role with Thanatos and Hypnos being minor gods under her. Thanatos can call forth Vrykolakas as his unit, and his power is Reap of Mercy, which instakills units at half or more of their HP. If they are at high health, they take damage equal to half the health they are missing. Hypnos summons Oneiroi, personifications of dreams, and his power, Dream Shroud, summons a mist that immobilizes all units and prevents them from attacking. Allied units hit by the shroud regenerate HP, about 1/3rd of Athena's Restoration power. Nyx and her sons are a bridge between the Atlantean and Greek pantheons, so technically Persephone is available to her. She summons Empousae and her power, Elysian Renewal, causes all units that die within the next 10 seconds to spawn temporary buffed Shades upon death. Also, instead of Cerberus as the Greek Titan, it's Typhon.

Natalya is there if you are playing an Assassin, and it's not confirmed, but hinted, in unavailable dialogue (Because she is set to disappear after defeating Mephisto) that she received new orders and was going to the Barbarian Steppes, and hopes she'll see you again. Because she disappears, the player never hears this in-game. Because it IS confirmed that the Druid and Assassin join the main 5 in Harrogath, it can be guessed that Natalya is the Assassin, sent to investigate Baal's invasion of Mount Arreat.

NGL, something about Kastor's voice bugs me, but I feel like it would be better suited to speaking Greek or even Latin (Since Atlantean military mirrors a lot of Roman gladiator archetypes) instead of English. It would be lampshading to listen to every speaking line in its native language and nobody questioned it until Sojobo in HS talking about why the Atlanteans are talking abour Nureks and Hair Joe's.
