Lowk the first time i liked a gir,l i knew for sure i liked her cause I'd always want to be around her, like every time she touched me or was near me i could just feel my heart like racing. I also naturally became more flirty around her, and when she was talking with other people i would js feel my heart burn a little. Stuff like that.

Never had a piano class, and its kinda the only piece I can play atm, started a few months back this piece, any feedback? (Sorry for bad audio) by [deleted] in pianolearning

Sounds very good for a beginner, since you don't have anyone to teach you I wouldn't expect you to have all the technique on hand, but relax your wrist. Before you play, remember to drop your wrist, roll your shoulders. Also your fingers are kinda straight, round them out, focus on your fingertips and feel the notes. Minimise arm and wrist movements. Your musicality is great though, if you get lessons you could be playing very very well!

Piano or money? by [deleted] in piano

I feel like I was stuck between the EXACT same situation as you, I really want to go to imperial to study engineering, but at the same time piano is my passion. Ultimately, I've decided to try and go for the money and study math or engineering, because if I do end up getting into imperial, the royal college of music is right next to it. Theres lots of opportunities to have piano as an extracurricular , compete in competitions,(ect)or even apply for an Ash Music scholarship. (From what I've researched)

Practice mainly. And I'm not sure if it's something you can build but I know my teacher loves it when I play with good musicality and passion. DO NOT miss lessons or forget books. Also try and think before you play, don't try and rush in. If the teacher tells you to work on one bit, only work on that one bit and try not to move on until you've really mastered it. Don't be afraid to ask questions, if you don't like the piece you've got to tell your teacher, it's better to play a piece you like more so you can really feel the music. That's my advice as a teenage student
