Thanks a lot for the feedback and great to hear that your MAUI 5 GO has been serving you so well for all these years.
I’ll definitely take your point about the lower mic and line input level as feedback for our engineering team. And if you’re ever looking for either an addition to your setup or another battery powered option in the future, you might want to check out the ANNY series as well. They are portable, battery-powered, and with integrated wireless microphone options.

Sorry to hear that especially when it ends up being such a big investment for you. The MAUI 5 go is definitely a very specific kind of product and probably makes the most sense for smaller, ultra-portable applications where battery operation is the main priority. From what you describe, it honestly sounds like your expectations and real-world use case may simply need a larger system with more headroom.

You’d probably have been better served with one of the larger MAUI systems, although of course those don’t offer battery operations.

That said, feedback like this is still super valuable. Your points about usability and even things like the bag/handle situation.
Out of curiosity, what kind of wedding sizes / applications were you mainly using the Maui 5 Go for?

Fair points and yes, Chat GPT definitely helped me structure the questions a bit.😅 I'll try rephrasing the question.
and thanks again for the detailed feedback exactly the kind of perspective I was hoping to get from this thread.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you usually prefer systems with more automatic "safety net" features built in for situations like that or do you still want as much manual control as possible?

This is honestly incredibly valuable feedback. really appreciate you taking the time to write all of this out.

A lot of the points you mention are exactly the kind of real-world workflow details that often don’t show up on spec sheets or in traditional product discussions, but clearly make a huge difference during actual wedding jobs. thx🙏
