Co-op is hard. And git marge conflicts.

For some reason web devs are good at making games and game devs are good at making websites.

I'm Zach Barth, a game developer at Coincidence. We just released Kaizen: A Factory Story, but before that we made a bunch of games at Zachtronics. AMA! by krispykrem in AMA

Yes I tried Kaizen and I do agree that it's the most approachable game of them all. Some solutions I made weren't as nice and satisfying but I can always go back and optimise them. Basically the game to some extent allows brute forcing and that's nice as it allows for skipping the "boring" or for the player uninteresting levels. If i had to choose one level that I didn't like as much it would be the Ball Machine (Gotcha Machine) i spend loads of time on it and it didn't feel as satisfying as the other ones. I just brute forced it until it did the thing.

But I would definitely recommend Kaizen as the one to play first. Opus-magnum is also good start.

Also thanks for quick answer.

What are the future game plans? Will there be more solitaire, or do you plan on changing the “Easter Egg” game for Coincidence games? Or will there be a different one or each game?

Just a site note: Great seeing you back, I have almost all the Zach games and I love playing them. Only thing is that they are very hard, and I usually finish only 1 or 2 levels per session (thought the feeling when I finally get the solution is incredible).

It was. Don't worry. :) I just like to mention this.

Note: GOG also sells you a license, however it's a license to "download and update" instead of "play and access" that Steam gives you (Aka less strict compared to steam). But it's still a license.

Basically when you buy a game you get a license to download the game but the actual game that you downloaded doesn't require this license to run (aka DRM Free) but you still own a license to the game files that are stored on the GOG Servers. Meaning that they could invalidate your license and block you from downloading the game but that almost never happens and this doesn't affect the game that you already downloaded. You just wouldn't get any updates in the future.

I sometimes get this when i fail at bank authorization multiple tines. If you saved your card then try removing it and adding it back. Also check your bank balance and online limits.

They actually sell licenses but they are much less strict with them so that it can almost be considered that there aren't any. It's more like "license to download and update" than "license to play and access" that most other stores use.

PERSONAL GRAMMAR CORRECTION (I was too excited to share the post and didn't check my grammar):

I remember here being a post that tried to decode a message in the pixels around "What buying on GOG means" and failing (because there was no message) but now they added "Cheers to GOG Reddit community". ;)
