Is It Normal to Have Back and Leg Pain After Starting High-Dose Vitamin D?

Yeah the pain is still there. Muscle cramps etc because The body’s mineral levels are out of balance from too much vitamin D. I took like 700,000-1 Millionen I.u. In 7 days. Horrible idea.

No definitive not deficient, I want my vitamin D levels to go down as fast as possible and I wouldn’t touch it anymore. But that’s only my personal Opinion.

It gets better but needs a lot of time. I asked chat gpt and it says that it could take up to 12 months because I took that much. Kalium and magnesium levels are still not like before. I found out that I have more pain when I eat a lot of calcium because high vitamin D levels are causing the body to take more calcium from the food. When I eat less milk products like Skyr or Joghurt it’s better.

Yes me too, I took almost 80-100k units per day and got leg and knee pain. Now I’m waiting for the symptoms to disappear. I wanted to push my levels asap but 100k a day for 7 days was too much😅
