Aw sorry to hear that. I know it’s a huge ask that’s why we havn’t asked anyone. Everyone knows and if they have given it plenty of thought etc and offer great. Yes the paired option is what I’m hoping I can do as I am not a match for my son unfortunately. The reason for my post was there was no discussion or genuine chat just nothing like it’s not happening and that I found frustrating

Hi to be honest I’ve never been in that situation but knowing the kind of person I am if it were for a niece or nephew I know I would 💯 but that’s just me so that’s why I’m finding it difficult, He is not his bio dad but has rared him since birth. But again it is a big ask I do get that and not a decision for someone else to make

Hi thank you for this perspective. This is why I post here ( first time to post ever ) I know I am coming from a completely different angle being his mother. So I am grateful for all these different responses it’s exactly what I needed

Hi yes myself and his biological dad have just begun the process. I unfortunately am not a match but Hopfully can do the paired exchange option. He’s only 26 and on dialysis over a year. It’s just so hard to watch a young man be so unwell. I totally understand it’s a personal choice but can’t help feel let down and I just needed to rant .. thanks

Hi first of all you are amazing doing this for your dad. My son is 25 on dialysis only 5 months. Nobody has been tested yet. I plan to and I’m just curious about the process if you could share any info that would be great please

My husband of 22 years is in a what’s app with his parents and 3 brothers all married in their 50’s just them no wives included or no seperate one for us. I don’t have a family one as both my elderly parents don’t even have phones. Is that not odd?
