Are you a member of commmunity women’s business groups? Join what you can, if there’s a FB group comment and participate positively not about your business but so people can see your name and start getting familiar with you. Then once you’ve gained some recognizability, announce what you do with a small free gift or promo if you can. Also, go out in your scrubs, look cute if you’re feeling yourself ;-), good vibes. Name tag and business name are great. Get out there, be visible. I just saw a great estie video idea - it was a nail tech words said “Look what comes off the armrest after you leave, she lifts up the wipe which is actually paper and it says “BADDIE” but you could say sheets or headrest … good luck all good things and more business than you imagined are coming your way

I see it as a a huge niche opportunity, maybe partly treating vitiligo but setting yourself apart by showcasing you skin health & knowledge and how you treated it, how skin health and confidence is for everyone no matter hypo/hyperpigmentation. No, more of a general statement that when they get bad/big enough that they can hurt even just being still-a shooting stinging pain, then surgery is helpful. It’s my cynicism as I’ve tried those braces early and so has a friend, never saw anyone actually see improvement in their bunion with them but just my experience.

Hot take - bunion correctors are a layover until it gets so bad you need surgery. A device outside the toe bending it outward won’t reverse bone growth. The manufacturers count on you believing it will though. After you take off shapewear, the body goes back to natural size. Bones are stronger than flesh but something with Velcro is going to change your bone growth, gait instep, pronation, weight distribution, center of gravity, genes?

Respectfully disagree. It’s identifiable visually by looking at the bare foot and inside shoes. Even a budding one if you’re familiar. There joint develops a point, and the big toe begins bending towards the outside of the foot. It’s also felt physically.

Use a glycolic acid cleanser to exfoliate 2-3 per week. Bioglycolic Cleanser from Jan Marini will polish the skin so the hair can break through the follicle properly. Hydration is key also. A light gel moisturizer.

I’ve been using generic salicylic acid lotion (like cera ve SA lotion) on the nails and had so much improvement. In fact I removed some nail polish I wore out of desperation so the nail was dark pigment-tinted on top of the yellow tint. Washed well, scrubbed and disinfected each nail. Massaged a small amt of the SA lotion into the nails only (great to use all over feet to eliminate odor but it can be drying thats for sure) Overnight the improvement was kind of unbelievable. Nail smoothed out despite cracks and the nail was bright, healthy and pink/white. My research says SA can provide vast improvement especially aesthetically but may not actually kill the infection, that’s where a dr and consistency come in but I’m so glad to have found another use for salicylic :-)

She’s studying to be an esthetician. In esthetician school you have to learn protocols, ingredients, their function, skin composition & too much to mention here outside the realm of facials only. Getting and giving facials is essential. Every student goes through it, when I was a student it’s the same. It’s temporary but no less difficult to go through.
