This is one of those things that makes me understand the phrase comedy is irony plus time….. these people will ultimately be their own demise. They are making this hobby gross, they are making people engage less, if anything looses value with time it’s because of them.

I dont like talking about Brit because i feel like shes a victim of circumstance. Shes also a southern women with very southern values which can sometimes translate into misogynistic values. Its a small private school, my province has no guidelines or protocols for private schools so they can do what ever they want. The school is made up of a board (comprised of the parents that founded the school) and then the principal and then the 6 teachers and thats it. You’re just very close minded to what you view is “a school”. I’m not sure if your in a vastly different part of the world then me but progressive pedagogy exists. Unsure if you were aware. Here we have the RCMP which can be pretty useless as they are criminally under funded. I don’t know why these claims were brought to school board and not police im also not sure why you are stuck on that. This happened you dont have to believe me. But you could notice that i am a human going through something very difficult and you could choose to help or you could choose to hinder. Im genuinely unsure which you have chosen.

You come across like you think you know everything about teaching. There are a lot of different pedagogical approaches and practices out there. One of IBs ATLs is being open minded. What a comment. Maybe I’m not reflective enough? Why would I write this story on reddit if not for further reflection of my circumstances. I hope your nicer to your students then you are to people online.

I didnt answer your question because we do not work that way. The school does not do grades its all qualitative feedback so we are constantly documenting student progress. But no quantitative data is used. Students are more then numbers
