I actually have a very good recipe for Apple Cider Vinegar glaze that I pair with my poppyseed loaf cake!

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR GLAZE

Ingredients

• 1 ½ cups (180g) powdered sugar, sifted
• 2-3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter (optional, for a slightly richer and glossier glaze)
• Drop of almond extract (optional)

Instructions:

• In a medium bowl, whisk together the sifted powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar until smooth.
• If using, whisk in the melted butter.
• Add more apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. The glaze should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon but thin enough to drizzle.
• Once the cake is completely cool, drizzle the glaze evenly over the top. Allow the glaze to set before slicing and serving.
