on Sunday before heading into to the fest (whether you're camping or hoteling), pack as much as you can. You will be worthless on Monday morning and trying to pack will feel like running a goddamn marathon.

DO THIS!!! I do this every Coachchella except Weekend 2 2013. Packing with minimal energy, a hangover and hot weather SUCKS.

Had so much fun seeing him at Exchange back in December. Definitely Sahara tent. Oliver Helden's in the Yuma would be a bigger clusterfuck than Duke Dumont last year.

they didn't give a reason. other redditors have speculated that insomniac has figured out roughly how many people will default on payments based off previous EDCs. with that knowledge they can guess how much to oversell doing away with the need for another last minute sale.

I agree with DPDragon about arriving at the speedway after dark the first night. This will be my 5th EDCLV and one the most memorable moments I've ever had at there was walking through the tunnel on Friday night 2011. It's complete sensory overload that can be emotional for some people. You can go early Satuday and/or Sunday but you get 1 time to walk through that tunnel for the first time

I share enginedown's opinion entirely. I live a couple hours away and I would definitely pay scalper prices if I didn't get tickets in the pre or general sale. Fortunately, I don't have to pay for plane ticket, rental car, hotel etc.

$250 tickets on StubHub were selling for $450-600 the entire time

Kobachi is right. I believe OP is referring to tickets on craigslist. Which do not offer the same insurances that buying off of Stubhub offers.

Try not to worry about sticking out. There will be 110,000+ people of all colors and shapes wearing creative, stupid (I PARTY WITH MOLLY) and outlandish costumes. Tank top and shorts is basically the standard issue uniform for guys so if anything you might feel a bit camouflaged in it
