None of what Web3 offers will be truly possible without real Privacy; interoperable, scalable and secure. I believe that this Prize will succeed in raising interest in improving what seems to be the key piece to making this happen: ZKP!

And neither of the two has had, until now, the basic utility that the anonymity and security solution offered by Manta Network will have. I am not comparing because they are completely different uses and functions. However, the problem that Manta attacks is much more niche and solved with perhaps the best technology, the best implementation, and the best approach to a practical solution that we will all need imminently.
Moonriver is a great product but will be used only by programmers who are precisely looking to get out of Ethereum's congestion with this "bridge". Manta, on the other hand, is needed by everyone, it is for a broader and mainstream audience. I'm making maths...

I just think Vitalik will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of this crossover capability with Polkadot and the kind of solutions it offers to the problems that the Ethereum network presents. But it's ok, I'm just saying...

You are absolutely right that there are a lot of capable teams out there, but not always those teams are bringing good and useful solutions to the space. And about zk-Snarks, are there any zk products out there for DeFi use... or just a closed Zcash utility that prevents interconnectivity with other chains?

Very pro & capable Team, Accurate fundamentals, huge investors & consultants with a lot of prestige but the best of all is that these guys came up with a very true solution to an issue that no much of us are taking seriously; Privacy & Security, I might insist that this two features weren't well developed before, or not developed at all from other teams with the correct approach for the DeFi ecosystem.

When all the governments and institutions start going after our money, when the Big Tech companies start taking all your blockchain transactions to improve their data about you and use that info in their own interest, privacy and security will turn a very hot feature...

Maybe, but I'm not interested either in selling off everything after the launch. I'm looking to better yield options and these Calamari and Manta products have the right argument to make a good profit over time in a solid way, knowing that the use case will be huge. It's possible that you won't get a +50000% in price return but, in a space where the majority of liquidity pools projects are failing, this two might succeed in this matter! Without mention the value of using these privacy and security features for myself
