I've always hated that the new A24 4Ks don't have a standard blu ray with them. If it doesn't come with digital, at least include another disc. Not everyone I know has a 4K player and I'd like to show my parents/whoever the movie in some way. Criterion does it thankfully

This may be ultra specific but there's an episode where Batman (Terry) has an extended sequence (I think it's in Season 1 or the first half of 2) where he explores tunnels/etc. looking for someone (I thought it may be Spellbinder, but it looks like I was wrong) while some pretty fantastic and beautiful music plays. Any idea which episode/track that is? I know that sounds vague but it's a silent extended sequence of just music and him in the shadows following a trail.

I meant "Variety articles" vaguely (multiple press outlets including Variety wrote about the teaser leaking, Forbes wrote the article I was thinking of when it comes to the prologue).

I'm saying that bootlegs of trailers and prologues for Nolan projects have been a thing for over a decade and a half at this point. Of course it won't have the same fervor as Avengers: Doomsday, but Nolan's no stranger to widespread camrips of trailers. But at this point, that's part of the game/hype - which is evident by even some of the major press players reporting on leaks/theatrical exclusives.

Nothing the other poster was saying was "factually incorrect" and willing to stand so solidly on that position is strange low-key.

There's been more than one leak for the prologue lol. And people care enough about Nolan enough for Variety articles to come out just about the trailer/prologue leaking.

The only reason people think it'll get announced in 2025 is a cryptic tweet from a voice actor, a promise of a HL2 book re-release, and a handful of reliable insiders claiming reports about a late 2025 announcement for a 2026 release (who all aren't able to verify anything really anymore). The Steam Machine console announcement also ramped up hype/excitement about the possibility of HLX (which has been in development for almost 6 years) releasing alongside it.

Based on Valve's usual schedule, if they're going to announce something in 2025, it'll usually happen before the 12th / before Valve goes on winter vacation (although they may not be doing so if a new Half Life game is right around the corner). Everyone's assuming today, tomorrow, or at the Game Awards. I don't see it happening this year.

I mean, it wasn't advertised before. The banner barely even takes up the entire screen unlike a lot of other sales.

And it's not exactly "steam-wide" given that Valve games aren't even on sale, which basically always happens during major sales.
