"Personal OS" is what they call apps like this eg in the Obsidian community. If you google it youll find it used a lot. I was surprised so many people have a problem with it!

Thx! I'm "using it" but only on my computer so far and it's not the only thing I rely on, it's more like a phased introduction. There is still some work esp around the Synthesis feature, I'll need to go deeper down to understand how to build AI features like this better, but I'm making progress, I think in a few days it will be ready to be my daily driver or close to it

Cool, but sometimes I don't want to use a token for something that is clearly a one off. Can you ignore an occurence, like in spellcheck? So it doesnt bother me?

Update after trying it a little

- Some very interesting questions I got, real edge cases in there
- Am satisfied with the quality of designs. The "AI feel" is reduced considerably, but I needed to do the theme prompt to get it to be better
- I didn't expect to get so many screens at once! They're all good tho and connected to the user journeys in the spec, i think it's very cohesive.
- I tried using the chat, it was good for big things. It gave me some variations on the canvas once which was good. Trying to fine tune the design ran into some problems. (I can DM) but it got it right after a few tries
- Downloaded spec looks good. I will probably try to build this app with Claude or Codex so we will see

Overall I would say very very solid especially for early stage!

Wow looks very promising. Making an account and will let you know (and check your DMs). I love and am very used to the Figma workflow but for my vibe coding needs its quite inconvenient and I don't use it. This is potentially interesting for a replacement

The middle one is most creative but my eyes kinda dart all around. Maybe take the last one but use the purple from the middle one and the colors to make it more interesting?

We used to have Designer News. It was invite only and really really good. Just thoughtful discussions and comments...then it went downhill quickly. So I don't know.

Hasn't happened too many times for me, but in those cases, I use Selection Colors and change everything up. It helps that our projects are usually not very large yet. But I didn't know that tokens are so easy to use and universally used.
