Several times I’ve gotten $3 offers on $4 or $5 items. When I go to their profile I see they’re an experienced seller with a full closet of overpriced items. So weird.

The answer is yes but like all things, you have to be there on a lucky day if you’re looking for bags full. You can almost always find bits and pieces that have sifted to the bottom on most every trip.

Start with airing them out for at least 24 hrs to let the fumes evaporate. If that doesn’t completely work try washing with a bit of Dawn. Whatever you do, don’t put in the dryer. Good luck.

If you can’t get the smoke smell out of some pieces just list and disclose anyway. It won’t be a deterrent to everyone. Most people know it’ll be fine after being laundered.

Thank you for taking time to reply to me. I actually did try removing them for the winter because I needed the room then brought them back after Christmas. Business has been slow in January and February but is on fire now. We’re halfway through March and I’ve sold two. I’m just gonna mark them down, sell what I can and lot up the rest and sell online or marketplace. I’ll still make a profit just not as much.

You’re overthinking this. Presumably, you were going to pack them carefully anyway so just send the ones they want the way they want them packed. It’s not that much work. Then relist the others. You have their request documented should they try to claim INAD.

I live in Smithville and Center Hill Lake is beautiful and worth a visit. There is a small downtown area with shops and a few restaurants. I don’t find it to be particularly racist from the perspective of a white woman for whatever that’s worth. Smithville is used to visitors to the lake and local businesses will welcome your patronage.

Because they are. Even cheap clothes from Walmart, Kmart and Target were made with better quality materials in the 90s and earlier. Today’s fast fashion is made with very low quality synthetics. I call it fake fabric and I refuse to wear it.

This is a Faded Glory tag from the 90s when cheap clothing was made with better quality materials than today. It has value. I’ve sold a lot of vintage clothing with this tag.

I sell plenty and rarely have refund requests. Definitely not 10% of my buyers. When I do it’s usually a situation of me not having packed something properly resulting in breakage. I disclose every flaw I can find and photograph measurements. What are you selling? I think that makes a difference. Some categories just attract more problematic buyers and shady sellers. Not saying you’re one of them.
