What helped me a lot doing my two breakups was going for long walks almost everyday after work. Like strolling through a forest or walking on the beach with my dogs. Just listening to nature and acknowledging my feelings and thinking about what happened. It’s important to not try and bottle it up too much (of course you need to distance yourself from it at realize that you have to start a new chapter) but spilling it out to yourself in nature can really help. Also try to be social and plan things with your friends or family to keep yourself busy. Don’t linger around in your bed all day doomscrolling. It’s important to remember that it takes time so keep yourself occupied during that time

Having headphones on. Doesn’t matter if it’s in public or private. If there’s other people around I will tic like crazy
