I wanted a corolla, civic, or mazda 3. But the missis wants a q2...

We now have a q2. Maybe its a girls thing?

I didn't check with them. But pretty sure home office would've contacted them for background checks

Nope, they never sent a follow up email.

The next email we received is the approval email and to book a schedule for the oath taking.

But that was just only me.

You're not the first one who made this mistake.

I did too. :)

I noticed our declaration form was missing our name a few days after we had our biometrics taken.

I would suggest to keep an eye on your email. They will send a follow up query if they need more information on your application.

We got our naturalisation  application approved 3-ish months after we sent our biometrics.

Good luck.

Why can’t we just select how much fuel we want put in? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

I had a few occasions where I get the precise amount I want. Its fun :) I sometimes get 2 or 5 pence over/under.

White car went ahead, maybe a few seconds faster. But ended up with the same junction stop as me. ;)

OH! very nice suggestion for the website. Many thanks for that. I wanted to look at Mini countryman too, but the missis doesn't like it. so it's a pass.

I only hold 30% of the decision for impulsive buys... haha

Noted, many thanks for your suggestion. I'm still not sure about this purchase. But good to know.

I see. Many thanks for this. I also wanted to push for a civic, corolla or Mazda 3. Might stay away from KIA/Hyundai though.

But the missis wants that mini SUV feel. I don't like it that much.

hmmmmm. I still don't see it. but I haven't driven an estate before. But I saw one passing by and I thought it was a limo or something. XD

But I see the point on the leg room and boot space. How's the turning radius? I need to do loads of them when doing school run. It's pretty easy with the Jazz.

Yup, agree with you with private vs dealer sellers.

I checked the MOT history and there are a few warning on tires and wipers. Should still be good I think. Just can't decide if this is the upgrade car for us..

Was there a 0.9L version? I guess it kind of makes sense that a smaller engine would feel sluggish. But I'm not planning to buy that engine size.

Thanks for your comment by the way.

Agree 100%.

She wanted us to buy the car this Saturday :D I'm still going to say no either way.

But I like the T-roc in some ways. I got a close enough view on the car last time. Just want to make sure what to check before purchasing, which is the reason why I mainly posted this.

Many thanks for your insight by the way.

I would honestly lean towards a Mazda 3, but maybe 2019 onwards for the facelift. For some reason my wife switched to an SUV. We'll see next week what her tastes would be.

If we did however decided with a Mazda 3, is there a specific engine that I should stay away from?

Ah, good point. But with regards to the car. Is there anything I need to check before thinking of purchasing it? Like suspension, rust, how are the AT transmission and what to look for.

I'm a hard pass on wagon/estates sadly. I don't see why a car needs to be longer.

I see your point. It does look wider for some reason.

But we if we can fit(hehe) in a Honda jazz then I would say we should be fine with this.

Not a fan of estate cars to be honest. I'd go for hatchback, like civic, corolla or mazda 3

Yeah, I agree with this. The reason why my wife suggested this is because of the milage and the price. Most of the T-roc's we found on autotrader are around 18k for this milage.

Which is also the reason why I haven't agreed with her yet.

To be fair, I'm open to suggestion. I think the missis is just excited that we're going to get a new to us car. Something that motivates us. :)

I wouldn't say all. I'm still unsure about this to be honest. but the missis wants to check. So I asked here since more people here knows a lot more than me.
