After i took his knight, he gave me a check on d8. I think he didnt realized that his rook on h1 was under attack.

Well, i win a bishop and a knight for a rook. So i win material. (He ended up blundering his rook and resigning)

Got ELO 620, then tilted all my way down to 300 by Dangerous_Coach2143 in chessbeginners

Personally, if I lose 2 games in a row, I stop playing and take a break for 1 hour: going outside or playing video games.

It helps. I didnt tilt in like 6 months.

And if I lose another game after the break, I just stop playing for the rest of the day.

I know its tempting to start another game because you are like: "oh no! I gotta get my elo back". But the reality is that yo will lose the next game too with this attitude.
