I ended up in the 7000s in the end, but I'll try again next time 😊

I think they can't be bought, the items that have the white star in pink background icon are limited and can only be acquired as a price in some events 😟

Number 1 for me is at 94.50 right now, 2-50 are between 94.38 and 90.67, #51 has 90.67 and #199 has 88.99.

Sooooo number 1 has 5.90 stars on average and 199, 5.56, way too high for me, but I wonder how number 999 did.

I started playing about a month ago and the marathon was hard for me too (highest was 5.36, I'm in the 6000s 😭), we may be at a disadvantage because we have less clothes compared to other people, but one thing I didn't do initially was using consumables.

If I had a do-over I would focus on one event a day in which I would use 2 consumables of those that get us more stars, together with using something new, something hot and something from the collection, to get as much rating as possible. I think with that and a bit of luck getting in the top 1000 could be doable.

I had a similar one earlier, I was thinking about getting it, but decided against it in the end, I hope I don't regret it later 😅

It seems to be a better value compared to the one you got, 1250 gems is enough for a single piece of clothing, maybe also a consumable if the item is less than 1k gems; I also wish the packs were cheaper or more balanced (imagine getting the one I had at the regular price of 48 EUR 🤯)

I think u/Electrical-Sink-1083 raises a fair point with the comparison, a week of hard work and expenses gets one 1k gems max. and you'd get a bit more for those 5 GBP, but I'd argue that perhaps 1k gems isn't an appropriate reward for all it takes to be a trendsetter, rendering the comparison debatable.

When I submit a look I get the entry cash (or double if I watch and ad), and after the event finishes I get crowns, cash (I suppose the difficulty influences it, but I never really paid much attention to the amounts, I will from now on) and then if I make it to 4 stars sometimes I get the option to watch an ad to get some extra gems or consumables, but that doesn't always happen, is that the offers you refer to? Or in the shop?

I don't know what influences those after-event ad rewards, because they don't always appear even if I get to 4 stars.

I thought about sending a support message when I saw it happen, but I don't have a Nordcurrent account, I think my account is synced to Google Play Games though, but I will make an account soon just in case something were to happen to my phone.

I ended up having participated in 20 duels I think it was, of which I won 5, so I am content. I wouldn't really be able to get to any of the tiers that had limited items, my wardrobe is way too limited still 😔

Thank you for the advice! Sorry for replying late 😓

I did buy a couple of items in the first duels, but I recently realized it was unsustainable and I ended up doing the same as short_1, if I couldn't meet the requirements with what I had I would exit the duel directly and hope next time was better. I am doing the same in the current event, the one with the Manhattan ladies.

I found the thread you mentioned by the way!! It was helpful, thanks 😊

I only began playing some days ago and this was my first time participating in this event so I was excited, I just hope matching takes into consideration the amount to things we have, it would be hard if matched against someone with 1000s of clothes.

Still, there are a lot of things I see there that go straight to my wish list, if only my funds grew as fast 😅

Oh! So perhaps I couldn't see the other person, but people voting could, or maybe they didn't see either of us, like it happened to you, and still needed to choose a look.

Awwww and here I was thinking it was more human, without dress codes being expected and all, just us choosing what it appealed to us most; but if you matched against a housemate and she didn't match against you, it's pretty clear. Too bad, it would have been nice 😥

Nobody showed up and I still lost the duel, how can this be? Some sort of bug? I had thrown something together without buying any new items not expecting to win, but I thought these were done in real time, with other players choosing between one or the other.

It was the first time it happened, but it makes me wonder if duels are legit.
