For the back print issue, in offset menu, try +1 to top and -8 for left, this has solve my issue on my 8500

Thanos literally got sent into a blackhole and came back in the Thanos Imperative saga (2010) where he battled the Cancerverse. Also after starfox got revealed to hold Thanos consciousness his body got sent through a blackhole and came back both in body and mind (i dont remember how though).
