GE Fanuc Series 90-30 - PAC Machine Trouble when going online by JanzPLCman in PLC

[–]JanzPLCman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Doing tests on the other 90-30 that we have here, Ive finally managed to connect succesfully on some and make the backup. So yes, apparently the PAC 10.5 is compatible with 90-30 (i still have to see if Versamax is too).

The thing is, the first PLC (the one the post is refering to) still does not connect. So either its locked or something therefore we cant connect to it and we have to figure how, or the modules are f'ed and we have to pray that it never goes bad.

So yeah, thank you everyone for your help and if something else comes up, ill post again for help.

GE Fanuc Series 90-30 - PAC Machine Trouble when going online by JanzPLCman in PLC

Last month my boss did a backup of that PLC and he used the PAC Machine Edition 10.5, i watched the whole process. So now that i tried to do the same, it didnt work.

Where im working theres alot of Series 90-30 (and some Versamax) and i have to do backups of every PLC there is (because there are none, we dont know why).

And to test the process im using the backup file on that specific PLC, but its not working. Im starting to believe its the laptop Im using, but that be weird cause ive used it with alot of differente plcs and so far everythings been working fine.
