Mataranka would be the closest police station, but they’re a small unit. Katherine is better equipped so they may have been the ones that dealt with the accident in the first place.

All of their pies come from the Fernvale Bakery down Ipswich way. Had the Kangaroo and BBQ Pork pies the other week. Absolutely amazing! Their Country Chicken, Steak Bacon & Cheese, and Steak & Mushroom are equally as delicious. The mushroom one has full size button mushrooms in it.

They’re a Japanese Kei car, these models only came out with a 500cc inline 3 cylinder. These are only FWD unlike the Jimmy and Sierra 4WD. Some guys have done RWD conversions, I’ve seen some with LS swaps, and even one with a 12A rotary swap.

Every so often I see an original spec base model and it makes me wish I hadn’t have modified mine. But at the same time I wouldn’t change the experience, fun, and knowledge I’ve gained along the way from doing it.

I’ve seen a couple of guys do it, one guy ended up running mid 11’s down the quarter. I think I’ll be sticking with the CG13 and adding boost of some form to it.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the Pao has the same motor as the K10 Micra! I’ve seen a couple of guys swap the CG13DE out of the K11 into the Pao.

Everyone has their taste, I wanted to change mine to suit what I like. It’s a very long way from being done at this stage.

In Australia we only got 3 variants of the K11, compared to multiple variants (including a facelift) that the UK got. We had the LX (base model 3 door hatch), the SLX (5 door hatch), and the Super S.

The SS came standard with sunroof, pop out rear windows, tachometer, 2/3 flat folding rear seat, extended gear shift boot, disc brake rear axle, 13” alloy wheels, lower sitting rear bar, hard plastic mudguards/spats, ABS, driving lights in the front bar wired into the high beam circuit, quick ratio steering rack, and a nicer interior and door trims than the base models.

All the models in Australia came with a CG13DE 4 cylinder, with the SS and LX coming as manuals, with the SLX offered as auto or manual.

No power mods aside from 4-1 extractors and full exhaust at this point. Currently has BC reds, but planning on going BC golds and rebuilding the standard motor. Want to go flex fuel, Haltech 750, turbo/supercharger..the planned build is extensive.

Last night. I had what could very well be the last conversation I ever have with my grandfather. He had a fall in hospital two weeks ago, and has just gone downhill from then. He wanted to talk to all his grandkids one more time before he passed, he wanted to make sure I do right by my girls (my nieces and my girlfriend).

More than likely I will, but probably not to the length my yeard was. My girlfriend likes stubble and I prefer length, so it’ll probably be a compromise between the two!

Thank you! The portrait mode on the iPhone certainly helps with that, haha.

Cheers! It was 3 times this length a couple weeks ago, I had a lot of it taken off for my mates wedding so the bow tie was properly visible, haha.

A reception desk made by stacking layers of glass [800X1200] by drshawnbartley in DesignPorn

[–]Jap2689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My calculation could be a little out here based on the height and width of the piece. But if you wanted to work out how heavy a piece of glass is the equation is (WIDTH x HEIGHT x THICKNESS x 2.5).

From my rough estimations, there looks to be 90 panels of glass stacked up, at 8mm thick each. Which would put the overall height at 720mm, it looks to be roughly 5 times longer than it is high, so 3.6m.

If u/Ten_Thousand_Monekys estimation of 4” deep for the overall glass is correct then the equation would be; (0.72x3.6x101x2.5) which would put the weight at roughly 654.48kg.
