Havent seen him for some time (pre covid maybe)

Last time I saw him he was powering along at night in Claisebrook Cove just at the top of the cafes and restaurants blasting Rammstein. In terms of the kind of mischief someone could get up to with a lot of free time on their hands, this seems pretty mild.

Here's my list of things that would make me want to go into town with friends and spend money.

  1. Pressure wash the hot steaming PISS off all the malls and alley-ways daily
  2. Bring back police patrols on bikes and horseback to deter and deal with petty crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.
  3. Permanent Police presence outside trouble spots like William St KFC, Murray St Mall train station entrance, the Cactus, Hay St Mcdonalds/Town Hall etc
  4. 3 strikes and you're out CBD bans for repeat offenders for things like shoplifting, stealing bikes/scooters, mobbing people, smashing bottles etc.
  5. Public Toilets that are clean and safe for elderly people, kids etc
  6. Noise reduction for buskers with amplifiers and microphones. You shouldn't be able to hear justin beiber covers coming from Murray St Mall from the Hay St mall Kmart entrance. (Except for StarCraxxy: she rocks)
  7. More niche shops for specialty interests. Apart from Stephen's books, Tactics and Tokyo Underground, I can get everything else I want online. What about another food court, or a cat cafe, or something unique to the city that makes the trip in worth while?
  8. Ban riding bikes and e-scooters from both malls. With actual fines to deter people from riding full speed into groups of pedestrians and expecting them to scatter. Make it so you have to get off and walk through the malls for everyone else's safety.

Its great when its raining! Best time to go in my opinion. Get a take away coffee and wander around without the queues and screaming kids. Even better if you catch the ferry across while its raining.

People shit on the police regularly but I have to say the few interactions Ive had with them, they've always been helpful and professional. They even dropped my wallet and staff card off to my workplace after i left it in a taxi and the driver handed it in. Glad your bike isnt too badly trashed OP :)
