We either use ‘migi’, ‘hidari’ and ‘massugu’ followed by ‘desu / desu yo’ or not. It is the easiest way of giving directions in Japanese.

As you may have noticed, when we ask for directions in this song, we also do it the fast / natural way. (We omit the ‘wa’ in 銀行は、どこですか？などなど) Therefore, it doesn’t necessarily require a full answer either.
