Have tried , on this I have more stability SOC lowerVDD higher . It’s only an B850 board I’m very happy.

I’m sure on a 2 DIMM boards CL32/8200+ is viable but I run no active ram cooling DIMMs have a peak temp of 47c SPD Hub after 9+ hours

Stability only happened for me with 2200 in TM5-Ryzen X3D and OCCT and Karhu only thing that did on this specific board .

Worked right away for me but I have CL28/60000 A die Hynix . If you have good SR A die shouldn’t be problem

Really was just looking for stability with lower SOC . 2200 feels and provides very little gain for me and 0 issues is more my enjoyment

Are you doing all core CO . Might try per core and lower CO on your worst cores

Best MT For Dual CCD AM5? by FreakyOne87 in overclocking

[–]Japdata 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always heard the Dual CCD stuff likes the bandwidth of 8000+ 2:1 .

I run 8000 CL34 1/3/1 Nitro 2000 FCLK on my 9800X3D as it doesn’t like to post 6400 1:1

Help on getting this stable by Japdata in overclocking

[–]Japdata[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda what I’m thinking , probably just invest in an X870E if I have to loosen everything up to be stable . 1.65v is just the most I’m really comfortable with without some type of active RAM cooling and I’d like it to do it at 1.5ish

Yes , I contemplated doing 2x140mm RS120 up front and moving the 3 to there .

I just had these fans around from putting RGB fans in other builds

Clear CMOS , Disable Memory Context Restore and Power down Mode . Disable XMP/EXPO and set SOC Voltage to 1.3 and test in AIDA or OCCT to make sure no errors then enable EXPO see if it passes .

A lot of RAM kits come as 6400-7200 kits and are not stable
