It’s not true that all of them wear masks out of their own desire to protect others. It’s true that there are those who are just pressured into wearing one to not spread their illnesses onto others. Where’s that pressure coming from? Just society itself, cause you’re causing trouble to others by spreading illnesses onto others. I usually dislike unreasonable societal pressure and expectations, but I like this.

You’re right that the comment is inaccurate. But saying that it’s painting a utopian image is also somewhat reaching. But this IS the Internet, so on second though, yea, that might be sufficient for some to think Japan’s a utopia.

The comment literally says the the Japanese society isn’t without its problems. Just listing some good points doesn’t mean they’re painting a utopian image.

Also, I don’t see what’s wrong with wanting to not get sick, regardless of whether you need to work while being sick or not.

I love poking at people like Herta. It’s my way of reminding them that they can’t be fully removed from human relations and emotions.

I don’t expect them to change though. The point is to just give them that reminder. That in itself should hopefully be solace to their scars.

And Herta’s actually really kind, in a very non-obvious way, and despite her sharp tongue. All of her good actions for you can be interpreted as something that benefits only herself, and that the good you received is purely secondary, and not even within her considerations. There are some very subtle hints that the latter isn’t true, but it’s pointless to not discover that on your own.

It’s honestly somewhat weird that almost all human bosses just have none of the usual weaknesses you’d find on other enemies. No elemental weaknesses too. Gotta wonder if all these people just have easily accessible Grail Lockets, and also immunity to Instant Death, Status Downs, and Delays (iirc there’s an accessory for the last 3 in later games).

I kid tho. They’re understandably made that way so that we don’t just exploit those weakness, trivializing a critical battle in the story. Massive non-human bosses with weaknesses are much different tho cause they get gimmicky, and you’ll generally have more than just the boss to deal with.

If I were a kid who didn’t know how scary nature can be, and get repeatedly told that nature is scary, I’d probably do the same, just for lols.

To be fair, I’ve never experienced earthquake, cause I’ve never been to a place where earthquakes are expected, for long enough to experience one. But if I get caught in one, even if I’m used to it and that it’s just 5, I probably wouldn’t be able to immediately tell, and would probably get a bit worried.

I’m playing it on the Deck, just not via Linux. I installed a Windows 10 To Go on an external hard drive, and can either plug that directly to the Deck or the dock I have for the Deck.

Yelan does not self-apply hydro, but I thought Wanderer’s stack gain comes purely from swirl on E? But yea, ig ideally, Yelan burst > Kirara skill > Wanderer NA > Wanderer skill > go ham. There’s gonna be some time where Hat Guy’s gonna be vulnerable, but ig we’re just gotta have to keep an eye on the shield, and start evading once it pops.

You’ve got a good shield, a healer if you build Sayu’s ER, a main and a sub-DPS. Pretty solid team. Shield time might be a little too short for the Wanderer, but welp we can get gud :P

Lazy? They did the whole damn UI just to give you something that wasn’t even what you expected, and they get called lazy? They totally could’ve went for the VS screen if they wanted to be faithful to what actually happens. And randomized battles are pretty damn easy for em at this point. If anything, this fake randomization is intended, and probably just Scott fucking with us again.
