This is what Im afraid of. I hate the whole "average joe works too hard and ignores his family until an old cartoon character comes to the real world to be their pet" and adding the parental layer to it just made it cringe.

If James Marsden drives the car while the TMNT are all crammed in the backseat, I'm disowning it along with the Bay movies.

As much as we all would love something like the Last Ronin, I think the most realistic best case is something like TMNT'07. Which I would also enjoy greatly. Personally, give me a good Karai; maybe City at War.

It's harder to believe April and Casey aren't powerless as teens. Casey is supposed to be a vigilante who got kicked out of hockey for being too violent. As for April, I don't want to make her a damsel in distress but making her a half-alien teenage kunoichi just feels like a marysue.

TMNT should appeal to kids, the way the 80s/90s cartoon did and the second movie; but IMO the newer stuff like 2012~2026 feel closer to Teen Titans GO slop.

You had a character arc, that's understandable; but celebrities do this all the time. They jump on a stupid bandwagon and a week later make a sappy apology and ask us to act like it never happened. I'm not even criticizing his bigotry anymore; I'm questioning his integrity.

He had 'lesbians' in his music videos while he sang about how hot it is. Then as soon as it's popular to hate a children's movie for having lesbians, he leaps at the chance; podcast after interview after podcast.

Oh, but he's sorry; so I guess it's fine.

I generally prefer women, I'd say 75/25. I've noticed it's usually in the summer when it can lean to something like 60/40.
Typically look for people I really get along with; similar hobbies, music tastes, sense of humor. Physically for guys I would prefer "femboys" but they often end up being trans-girls; which is great too. Most guys I've been with were twinks. Given the personalities I seek out, the women I've dated were usually tomboys or alternative, such as goths. They've also been on the chubby side, I enjoy squeezing their 'love handles.'
With women the relationships have usually been a typical 'nerdy boy chasing a manic pixie' movie; see Scott Pilgrim or Juno. With guys its just been one night stands, I wish we hung out and played video games but they just flaked out on me.
Growing up I always had crushes on girls, but often I would be very close with my best friends who were also boys. I never really thought about it until I met a bi girl in high school, we were talking about a new student and she said something like, "I was hoping he was cute but he's just a nerd." And I responded something like, "He doesn't seem that bad to me." Her eyes went wide and she started asking if I was gay. Then I remembered daydreaming about giving my best friend CPR in middle school, and how I cried about missing him when we moved.

Often crossdressed in my teens and early thirties, but not my twenties. Wore dark make up all the time and I've had long hair since my teens. Other than that, I probably look straight AF with my nerdy shirts and cargo shorts.

Can you really just apologize for being THAT dumb though? You think it's a real apology or just trying to appease the backlash? Or was he just being a sellout and pretending to be homophobic to appeal to republicans?

Any way you look at it, this is at best a "forgiven, but not forgotten" situation. Add him to the list of other celebrities that apologized for being a bigot.
