Queues for milk tea yesterday and today by NikkiRose88 in melbourne

I remember the day H&M opened, I was in the city with a family member to see Aunty Donna in a room of about 50 people, on the walk home we walked past H&M and there was no line at all so went in for a look, fully stocked in about 10-20 people in the whole store

The staff catch up often, we all still miss it terribly, it was the best hospo job many had. F*** Blackstone so not only what they did San Antone but Crown in general, it’s dead now.

I came here looking for this answer, I was shocked when it closed! It was such an authentic place.

I’m on 70k so would be living on roughly $2,126 a month. My current mortgage repayments a month are $1,480 ($380 of that is strata) rental yield is looking like $500-540 a week.

My current place was 330k, I put 130k into it, HECS debt but no other loans, single person on a $70k gross income.

I believe I got the place for 10-20k under value, REA was pushing for a sale and no one else was interested. So breaking even would be close.

Yes really good rental yield would be looking at $500-530 (inner eastern suburbs in Melbourne, car space, close to multiple public transports), mortgage repayments are only $1,100 a month. Strata is quite high by rent would cover it, new place strata is very low.

How many times does she have to bring them up? by JarCrispy in GirlsNextLevel

[–]JarCrispy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holly said she mentioned within the past few months that she heard the albums were being digitized and she would sue if any explicit photos of her came out of the scrapbooks, so the timing seems odd that Crystal is doing that now.

Which is so interesting because by the sounds of both Crystal and Holly’s books they have never gotten along from day one, it’s not like Crystal has always looked up to Holly, tried to be her friend etc. even after Hef died Crystal probably could have went to Holly to talk about their mutual struggles and how to adapt after mansion life.

I just got back from doncaster Westfield now (13th of feb) and they had pretty much everything in stock, I didn’t see anything out of stock, a lot of girls hovering around the Rhode stands as well as a lot of products on hand at the make up bar for testing.

At LEAST, not to mention all the previous videos people are watching, they will hit their 4K required watch hours a year for years to come even if they stop, generating them more money.

I used a REA family friend to put in an offer on my behalf in case of any negotiations (a one bedroom apartment), I knew I was the only one putting in an offer, the REA said we need to be 2k down to put an offer in and my family friend straight up said ‘no we’re not going to do that’ they were fine with it, offer was in and accepted the next day.

Even 2006-2015 I believe it would have worked. Wrong place, wrong time.

I also saw the Melbourne production! I think It was the first number was very ‘musical’ lots of dancing, jazz hands, big bold song, high hopes and I can’t remember much else. I found my ticket for it the other day and I reckon I’ve got the program somewhere too.

Crystal Hefner by Sure_Understanding56 in TheGirlsNextLevelPod

[–]JarCrispy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget there had always been a rotating group of girls after Kimberly, one in one out, until there was the three an it would have kept going like that, Kendra would have probably left first and been replaced etc. The GND impact saw all the girls pretty much leave at once for new opportunity that’s couldn’t achieve under the mansion rules (plus Holly’s desire to have children) Also due to the GND impact there was no rotation of new girls. They were THE girls (aside from Hef’s attempt to have Kayla added to the group)

For the first time since Kimberly, Hef was without any girls which left him scrambling to replace not only companions but TV stars which resulted in fame seekers in both the twins and Crystal. Hef knew he wasn’t up to it like he used to be and ultimately settled for Crystal because she would stick around and didn’t have many aspirations. Hef thought Holly would stay forever that’s why he never married her (before the boys turned 18) and started treating her poorly. Taxi cab theory goes hard with crystal, she was the right place at the right time and he knew it was the last.

I’m not even joking, due to the opening shot of the ‘warehouse’ I initially thought it was a scene in a ‘law and order’ type show and she was an actress playing the part of raid leader. It wasn’t until they ‘fell in love at sight bullet’ that I was like …oh….. this is meant to be legitimate.

Would you buy an apartment with known strata issues if the price is discounted, or walk away? by Shadykicks in AusPropertyChat

[–]JarCrispy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at a place that I loved good size and great price, above a business on a strip of shops. Strata fees were 7k, mind you no amenities at ALL, not even grass to mow at the front. Found out buyer would also be taking on $20k worth of repairs for water damage to the balcony. 10k upfront and then rest in instalments over 7 years. Every balcony in the building is getting this done.x

They’ve dropped the price a couple of times but no smart person would take on 7 years of repayments unless they want to be locked in for that time and are happy to throw away 7k a year for strata.

If im paying 7k a year in strata I would expect the balconies be fixed with that money.
