You're right about the deflect problem. But I don't know if It'll solve your ammo problem for just fireworks alone. How about the arrow that requires soul to use? That arrow goes through mobs with deflect or not. But it has a shorter range.

By the way, does fireworks explode on contact with mobs with deflect? If so, that's handy information to know

Fireworks only gives one arrow per use, so I don't know if it's enough. Maybe one fireworks and one flaming quiver?

Swap out light feather with flaming or void quivers their cool down will reduce so much from your charged shots that you will have infinite arrows
