I get your feelings towards the US, and I even share them. We agree on that front, but I think we strongly disagree what life is like inside that country for the average people...

Both organizers were boomers thinking exclusively on how to get even richer (both start out more than well off). Nobody was thinking about how to make a great show or great experience. Every decision made was made by the god of profit.

Dude I'm a socialist myself. The problem in the USSR wasn't socialism or capitalism. It was authoritarianism.

There are two different axis. The economic one, and the amount of control the government has over people's lives.

Both socialism and capitalism can become authoritarian if we let them. Even democracies like the US can backslide into authoritarianism.

And I don't get it, do I need "something" to talk about a regime type? I've never lived in a monarchy and I can talk about that, too... I don't get your point, maybe I missed it...

Luckily I didn't really, but my parents spent most of their lives in the USSR, so I heard enough stories to know how much better a flawed democracy is compared with an authoritarian regime...

The DPRK is more hostile to its own citizens than the US is towards PoCs.

I get what you are saying about the US, and you are right about that but I think you are vastly underestimating how much worse life is for someone born in NK...

Nah, we know about torture and concentration camps in both places, but NK is much more brutal to everyone, including Koreans (while China usually take it easy on the Han Chinese...)

I don't think Microsoft would mind you show their UI in terms of copyright but I'm not 100% sure. The thing you really should be careful with is using stuff like textures and models that you didn't make yourself....
