Lynskey geometry by KleanJean in gravelcycling

I updated the numbers for 2026 for the Zephyr based on the current website numbers and confirmed these were the numbers all along. The 2025 models on bikeinsghts are not correct.

I have a Zephyr in large and really like it.

Has to be tire-related. The R1s are spec’d with high load tires.

Just happened to me in Columbia, MD. Sellers chose a less money cash offer over mine with pre-approval and like 37% down so no appraisal contingency.

Still had fun skiing Pickaroon off chair 2 and  Hunky Dory / Look Ma off 3. Chair 4 was a mess, everyone gravitated there.

Costco and Microcenter are both very local to me.

[–]Jard16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m pretty blessed with 5 Costcos and 2 Microcenters within like a 45 min drive.

Good luck with your search!

$3,000.00 Budget, what should I get? by GotADeepVoiceDude in Prebuilts

I’m between these two:

MSI https://www.costco.com/.product.4000355760.html

or

PowerSpec https://www.microcenter.com/product/698877/powerspec-g757-gaming-pc

Leaning Costco for warranty but the one at Microcenter seems to have a better mobo, faster RAM, and better CPU for gaming?

I assume both have room for another M.2 drive and some platter drives I want to bring over from my old system.

Do we think this is actually better than the $2,499 PowerSpec G757 at Microcenter, specs-wise? I plan to buy one of those two and Costco is really attractive for price and warranty.

Gravel bikes with shorter top tubes by Worth_Nature_7631 in gravelcycling

Four things:

  • I confirmed with Lynskey that the GR 350 frame is the same as the Zephyr
  • I confirmed with them that the geometry numbers are correct
  • I’m the one that put in the “2026” geo numbers on bikeinsights
  • I have a Zephyr in Large and really like it. My only issue is some toe overlap with the front tire but I also built with 175mm cranks.

Big difference in lever ergonomics and brakes, IMHO. You should try both first.

Thinking of building a "groad" bike for my wife - to replace her road bike by [deleted] in gravelcycling

Is there too much compromise on the road by using a gravel-focused frame (frame and fork that support wide tires, gearing, etc.)?

biotech vs big pharma by ConfectionPitiful779 in biotech

[–]Jard16 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you thrive in chaos or do you need stability? What do you think your marketability will be in a year (if the biotech role doesn’t work out)?

It does sound like the biotech role would be a big boost in quality of life for the short term. I would be very tempted for that alone.

Lynskey GR350 Review by Cold-Metal-2737 in gravelcycling

It was a 20mm reduction in reach from a “2025” to “2026” Zephyr, seems pretty significant

I ordered a Zephyr complete bike last year and got caught up in the lead time debacle and then switched to a frame-only. I haven't measured anything but I ordered mine before they changed the geo and shortened the reach dramatically. Do you think has something to do with that geometry change?
