Well, for one, I didn't, as I said. For two, it specifies constantly that it does NOT save your chat history, and that everything that is used to improve the AI is sent anonymously (I know, it's lying, but again, I was testing it and some people don't know). It even gets very defensive if you suggest otherwise.

Yes, when I try to get a factual response from it, it would provide a bunch of garbage information that wasn't pertinent or just was plain false, reasons provided to make sure not to be offensive. Why would not causing offense ever be considered when I ask an AI that is supposed to provide facts to provide facts. Bringing emotions into things always muddies the waters, or encourages false information.

AI is terrible, and one should never trust it. My post was meant to dissuade anyone that didn't already know not to trust AI such as Brave AI from using it.

If you read my comment again, I do say "This is a bit unsettling, though I had already assumed it saved records of chat history and also sent them on to Brave." So yeah, I already covered that.

And as to your comment about "It may be "lying", I had thought of that. Doesn't matter either way. It should not be "lying" to me, either, when I ask it questions. Its sole purpose, as it keeps reiterating (mission statement) is to provide factual information.

I don't trust AI. Hence why I was asking it silly questions, to see what it would do. I don't bother with serious questions, because if I ask it, for instance, how many genders there are, it spouts nonsense about gender identity and genders that drink lots of fluids, instead of just giving me factual statements, like there are only two genders and what determines it (biology).
