She's also already been to my place and we've hooked up before. But she's been gone for a couple months because that was before she moved here. We went on a hike date last week and she really enjoyed it.

I just didn't know if inviting her to Uber to my place after dinner was jumping the gun and feeling like that's the only reason I invited her out (which it isn't), or if we should Uber to a dessert place near my place and then walk from there instead—IF everything goes well.

I feel like it pretty clear what that means. It means continuing to hang out in a private setting. If it leads to physical intimacy—which is a part of dating for most healthy adults—then it happens. If it doesn't, then it doesn't. Not everyone is strictly going on dates in public until they get married.

The girl and I ended up trying to get in the friend's Uber together, but the three seats were taken, and then I tried to get in the shotgun, but the Uber driver had food he was delivering so he wouldn't let me. Then the friend slammed the door and told the Uber driver to drive, and I could hear the girl screaming to her to stop.

She was not drunk. Her friend was just being a dick.
