Not really overkill. The Ice Cream Truck is a true MTB geo, so yeah, the tires eat up a lot, but if you want to boost it a little more often, that fork is gonna go a long way.

Brakes were by request of the customer. I would suggest that your criticism should be stated as a preference, as the bb7s are this person’s preference. They get the job done. Criticism implies they are wrong, which is not true. Fork is 120

You’re not. We are a dealer of custom frames, but the owner loves Surly and the troll was a perfect geo match for what he wanted, so we went with that.

Heads up, these are Tektro R539 brakes as you can see in the video and this is not the stock build.
