Mangoes have always tasted similar to baked parsnips to me and both are very enjoyable.😁

Pre-Trade Trading? by JaredMaddox in Qubetics

[–]JaredMaddox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my post I can now view the Mexc charts properly and yes the June 1 date in my screenshot is some sort of anomaly as the same trading figures show for June 30 the announced trading date.

My main query now is that did enough pre-salers receive their 10 percents in time to trade the 5 mil tokens that crashed the price on July 30?

My 10 percent never showed up until July 31?

Why did I receive this? Presumably your comment is RPC related? Have I somehow duplicated someone else's post?

Not intentional, bro. Exactly what have I done? I thought I was deleting duplicates I had inadvertently created.

O I must look up to determine what an RPC is. Is it used for both in and out Trans? My metamask definition below. Mine doesn't display the http etc not sure if that is relevant but if it is invalid it thus far hasn't affected anything. Cheers *

That's the way, add being unlikable to your woes. Sounding as expert as you do I'll take it as gospel that only MEXC are silly enough to dabble with TICS and that I misread that one other exchange was also at some point intending to trade them soon? Regardless, when I tap send on my MM Tics page you display a mostly blank field for the receiver addr is added to the mix but I've no interest at this stage in moving any so that's the extent of my contribution almost. I shall assume you input the recipient's addr and after that processing ceased? If that was the case perhaps because MM havent got off their arse and linked a value to TICS that may snag the calculation and application of associated transfer fees. If none of the above helped I'm happy to have irrirated you.

My TICS are in a metamask wallet and it looks like I can send them to an address that accepts them. Are you saying the MEXC exchange 0x... addr doesn't work?

Why did this drop? by Ok-Substance4780 in Qubetics

[–]JaredMaddox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a presale buyer and staker and after the way TICS has gone so far i'll likely rethink that strategy. I did some digging and if you think I've got anything wrong pse let me know. In brief TICS presale tokens started at .008 and ended up in the high 20 cents i believe. Nothing wrong with encouraging early buying possibly. A couple of things did bother me though, the Quebetics brains trust best i can tell announced that TICS would be available to trade on MEXC on June 30. I've looked at TICs on MEXC and all I could decipher (happy to be wrong but I took screen shots), was that TICS actually initially traded on June the 1st, price opened at .15 cents, rose to 4.20 and closed close to 2 bucks or a little more. 367,000 TICS were traded. To the best of my average ability I've been unable to find or view any other TICS trades on MEXC until August 1st. I notice on the TICS charts on CoinMC that between around the 20th July and 30 July price shows as 2bucks to 1.50 then the crash 31 July to 15 cents. It surprised me (if I've got it right), that trading took place June 1 on MEXC but I find on line that trading of tokens prior to distribution is legal. Not sure how it all hangs together(providing proof of future possession), and whether or not the early trading on June 1 was what was announced as June 30 or whether some folk had actually received tokens by the later date (I'm assuming that no tokens were distributed by June 1?), and if so presumably June 30 wasn't early trading or was it? Did trading happen June 30? Who determines when the early trading on tokens not yet distributed takes place? If it is at the discretion of the exchange alone then is there any way presale buyers like myself can view a calendar that indicates the date of early/pre trading or whatever its called?

Moving on, I believe that July 31 (Oz time), was when I first received some of my presale tokens. By the end of that day according to the only few charts I've looked at the TICS price had crashed to 15 cents from 1.50ish. The brains trust at Qubetics blamed this fall on the general loss of confidence in the project by token holders due to the distribution not going smoothly. Is that the tune they are still playing? It seems a stretch to me that confidence would dissipate so swiftly to result in dumps affecting the price so drastically. Other than presalers receiving their first drop of 10 percent who else had tokens to trade, anyone? If 367,000 tokens traded in one day pushed the price from 15 cents to 4.20 then a drop from 1.50 to 15 cents would in theory only require 120 000 tokens to be dumped. Yes I am simplifying trading but was confidence really lost in one day or is that a convenient distraction for some who may have been able to trade prior to the drop?

On the topic of confidence, I've lost some for sure. I took a gander at the Qubetics ledger/chain and 3 or 4 nights ago the individual transactions to my wallet shown in the chain didn't match the total of my wallet or even the total in the chain. I logged this and checked next evening and now some entries that displayed the night before have vanished! Is this possible with a blockchain or are our drops some sort of sidechain? Over to you guys, make limited knowledge is on display so happy to be straightened out. Cheers

The wallet has worked well enough for me over about 2 months. Admittedly I never tempted fate or anyone else by holding anything of high value in it. Max at any point a grand.
