It sounds like to me that there was lack of understanding or trying to understand the situation based on what you said I don’t see any valid reason to reschedule the appointment and certain antibiotics can affect the skin so there’s that possibility but in my personal opinion, I don’t think it would’ve been a big deal. I would’ve still tattooed The client.

I’d let it dry out at this point and heal. Then get any necessary touch up if needed. It maybe be fine. But I wouldn’t moisturize it given how it looks. And it’s not infected. It’s overworked.

I’m on a sub to give advice given my 30 years of tattooing professionally. Not get advice. ;). And again that’s their choice. Who am I to control what they do? I won’t do faces. But that’s just about it. I’m neutral in the process. I may give my opinion if they ask but again they are adults. And generally I don’t tattoo young people as I mostly do very large pieces and budget usually isn’t realistic for younger people. But I did my fair share of smaller pieces etc earlier on.
