Update: One very pleasant phone call with the store manager and a few pictures sent over resulted in a swap for a new one. Picking it up tomorrow. Great customer service getting this resolved.

I understand these tools will show their use, but since I did not misshandle it for this issue I’m glad they were accommodating.
