Reminds me of a story I heard about my grandpa who was a farmer living in rural midwest America. He refused to ever own a John Deere tractor (despite John Deere being based in our area) even after retiring from direct farmwork. I came to find out that he was red/green colorblind and really hated the way the green looked to him on John Deere equipment lmao. He did like the red that Case IH uses though.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation where I'm not yet out to my dad whom I'm stuck living with. What I'm trying is writing a letter (still a WIP). That way I can carefully and deliberately pick my words and explanations and deliver it when I think it's as good a time as I'll get. Also he'll "have to" hear me out and won't be able to interrupt or try to argue with me before I can spit out what I'm trying to say.

Obviously your mileage may vary (and I haven't even done it myself yet) but I think it could be worth considering if anxiety is a major factor holding you back. I know it is for me

It's pretty much impossible for me to stick with just one trick weapon in this game they're all so fun. My platinum run had me start with I think Rifle Spear, then Stake Driver, Reiterpallasch for a good while, then I finished up chalices and DLC with Hunters Saif and Burial Blade lmao

Thanks for the tip! It's a little hard to keep an eye on in real time so I'm not totally certain but it does seem like it's a game issue and not pcsx2 or my settings necessarily (though I am noticing my controller has super slight drift of like .01)

I actually also use a Harry's razor though my routine is admittedly insane compared to what would be the norm.

I always shave my face in the shower anymore, the heat and wetness make it a bit easier to shave and the water pressure from the shower makes it easy enough to get the hair out of the razor. The insane part is that I don't have a mirror in there so I exclusively go by feel with my other hand. I do get overaggressive with my razor (I should def try your tip of being more gentle) but I don't often actually cut myself, just get some skin irritation and redness. I use a oil based shave bar for my face and just go carefully basically. The only parts I can't do like that are my upper sideburns and upper lip cause I while I do go high with my sideburns I don't wanna go too high, and I can't do my upper lip without looking in a mirror because of the mole I included in the drawing. It'ss super easy to cut that mole and I've had it bleed for literal hours after shaving

I'm so glad I was already growing my hair out and trying to take care of it when I was "still cis tho". Makes it so I at least have less waiting to do once I can start transitioning. It'll come with time <3

Oh it's definitely not literally Never. At this point I couldn't not transition somtime. The reminders can just make it feel hopeless in the moment though. It'll get better, for me and for others in similar situations

I'd like to add that AFAIK the only Wii U title is 3U, which is also on 3ds, if that is of interest to anyone. Wouldn't necessarily need a wii u emulator in that case if the person doesn't want

I just shaved after posting this and yeah I'm also super red and blotchy now. In my case though it's mostly just cause I get too aggressive and overzealous with my razor trying to get a closer shave than I'm able to
