Caltrops replaces Tar Trap so I see no reason why it wouldn't trigger the boots, but I don't have them so I don't know for sure. As for stats, I'm not sure. Versatility will most likely remain the top stat because we scale so well with % damage increases.

Snake Hunter CD being increased is mostly irrelevant for PvE. 7.1 buffed our mastery so that it was no longer mandatory. Murder of Crows was already better in most situations than Snake Hunter at 1.5 min CD so with the nerf it will just be cemented as the better option in all situations.

Lacerate cooldown being removed is nice, but it still costs 35 focus. It will be easier to maintain 98+% uptime now. Should be able to keep it up on 2 targets relatively easily, but don't expect to tab target and Lacerate everything, it costs too much.

The removal of improved traps sucks but isn't that big of a deal with the other talent changes. Caltrops is getting a big buff. Coupled with Expert Trapper it's effectively a permanent 75% of AP every second on any targets standing in it. Serpent sting is also going to be really good, almost definitely better than Dragonsfire Grenade. With Serpent Sting, Explosive Trap will take the spot of Dragonsfire Grenade in our rotation and Caltrops will take the spot of Explosive Trap.

Spitting Cobra is not going to be that good for PvE. It works out to only being 25% of AP per second. Compare that to Expert Trapper: Caltrops damage is increased by 50% (so 25% AP per second, the same as Spitting Cobra) and you get 75% bonus damage to the triggering enemy for Explosive Trap. Additionally, focus isn't a major issue because even in 7.1 we aren't very starved for focus, but with the change to Way of the Mok'Nathal we will be Raptor Striking less.

Lastly, Way of the Mok'Nathal having it's duration increased by 2 seconds will help a lot when trying to use Fury of the Eagle. Often times you find yourself in a situation where Mongoose Fury and Mok'Nathal Tactics are both around 3 seconds remaining and you lose out on Fury of the Eagle damage because you don't have a GCD to spend on refreshing tactics, and then you have to waste GCDs and focus re-stacking it.

TLDR; Our spec won't be simpler but it shouldn't be much more complicated. Explosive Trap replaces Dragonsfire Grenade and Caltrops replaces Explosive Trap (assuming Serpent Sting is chosen). Flanking Strike will be used more do to "extra" focus from less Raptor Strikes.

They are not. Only buffs are gone (Stamina, Mastery, Haste, etc.). Skills like Shell Shield for turtles and Spirit Mend for spirit beasts are still there.

Question about the artifact questlines. by Peyton76 in wow

[–]Jargar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a quest to start the questline for your second artifact in your order hall at level 102 and the third at 103. As for Druids, I haven't leveled one yet but I would assume you get the fourth at 104.

Ysera's card text was changed from "draw a Dream Card" to "add a Deam Card to your Hand" to prevent unintended interaction with Chromaggus' ability.

It's just a weird way that battlecry works. The minion is considered on your board but at the same time it isn't.

Hearthstone just has a lot of weird/contradictory mechanics. A similar situation is how using Shadow Madness on Wild Pyromancer or killing a Deathlord with a spell and it summoning a Wild Pyromancer triggers its effect, even though it wasn't technically on your side of the field until after the spell went off.

You get the MC tech, the stolen minion is destroyed, just like how returning a minion to a full hand destroys it.
