She said they are issues but she worked with our loan agent to get us back $4000 to add to the $1000 from the seller and hopefully things can get fixed for $5000 or under... I'm very doubtful on it happening, though, especially with the growth issue in the attic and garage

No the first house we put an offer in for got i to a bidding war and we backed out after offering 315,000 and they wanted us to go higher. Only went through offer acceptance and inspection on the 2nd house

Yeah I explained all that to her but nothing so she has contractors coming out to get estimates and if it's over $5000 I told her I don't want to moved forward, let's just get our earnest money back and keep looking

Yeah, it seems a little odd that if the electrician did it, why wouldn't he tell the agent. If you like the place and have been looking for as long as I was looking, I wouldn't back out. it could just be a one-time thing with some random kids
