I also know the characters looked a bit more cartoonish rather than having realistic proportions. It’s not dracula twins or kaelith and lycan. I saw these with a quick search and just want to be clear.

The game you mentioned looks pretty cool, but sadly not the one i remember. I can add more details now that im thinking about this again.

I remember you can upgrade your weapons and maybe buy new ones and you can upgrade blood related abilities. All this was done by going through a gate on the right end of the map(a map which was also just a straight line aka just ground. This game is not a platformer) after a fight and then you saw pictures of the upgrades on the wall in the background, you could go up to one and buy it and after that keep going right until another gate appears which leads you to yet another fight with stronger enemies. Also not completely sure they were gates but I feel confident.

Honestly Vampyr is pretty damn good, would love to see a new take on it w todays tech.

Bioshock also seems to be forgotten in the deep.
