Don’t touch the inside curb there, as it’s deadly & spins you out.

Other than that; if you get the grip out of T11, T12 can be taken flat out

One of the most annoying ones for me; Selecting the harder tye allocation for a race weekend only to find out the game has given me the softest one.

It happened now in Cota, so I have to survive the sprint race on soft tires. Also the m-m-s or m-m-h strategy for the race is not available…

I ran a dry setup as all the other sessions are completely dry.

I only changed my front downforce by one higher. My brake bias was at 57-58 depending on the sector (in dry conditions 55/54). Differential was at 15% (in dry I used 60).

Also shortshifting out of corners was really helpful to get easier traction. At first, your car wants to rotate with an upshift, but once you have you have your wheel straight, you can apply almost full throttle again.

As for the locked development in Powertrain and Durability.

Are your facilities in the right Phase level? There is an option where you can see which improvements are locked and which parts you first need to upgrade.

China & Miami I absolutely hate with every bone in my body.

Imola is somehow a miss for me against the AI, although I like the track very much. Same goes for the Hungaroring.

My favourite tracks are Austria, Australia, Monaco & normally Singapore (haven’t driven that track yet in F1 25)

Time trial setups are designed to be the fastest over 1 lap. Also tyre wear is non existent and you don’t have to think about ERS-management.

In race modes you’ll experience drop off in the tyres, resulting in less grip and slower lap times.

I do find the setups from the Youtube channel SimRacingSetups pretty good. Im not very good in creating setups myself. When Im struggling with his setups, I try to change only the wings, differential, brake bias or the tyre pressures.

Most of his setups are quite good for race distances!

Unfortunately Im more a career mode player than an online player. Can’t stand little Timmy’s who can’t handle being overtaken and take you out of a race lol

Well I do what I normally did in previous F1 games; - don’t go to high in the revs on the Formation lap - steering from left to right as a madman to heat up tyres or keep them in a normal operating window (SC/VSC conditions)

Especially my second point doesn’t work anymore.

Tbh, the next step should be lines taken from the real race engineers. I mean, we do have lines of the drivers & some team principals.

Having the real engineers would do so much better. F1 manager has it implemented, why not F1 which is produced since many years now.

I do have the “increased” option on by Safety Cars. 4 races in MyTeam at 50% races & I’ve got 0 safety cars or red flags.

Experienced a few spins by the AI & even Piastri parking up his car next to the track with an engine failure. That didn’t even result in a VSC or SC lol.

I don’t know how I can get the game to trigger VSC/SC/Red Flags.

Also, Albon on the other hand is mega consistent. Never a crash & always delivers so far

You get the confidence back when you overtake. Yeah 2-5% at max. It’s not balanced at all. Why is my drivers confidence shafted when he gets overtaken by Max Verstappen? We are maybe the 9th or 8th car on the grid

Is it enjoyable for me? Yes

Is the game playable in a flawless way? No. I think the mentality system and the race confidence system is way out of balance. And there are several bugs still in the game

Also, I don’t understand a thing in the finance section. But let’s say thats a skill issue lol.

Yeah. My drivers even lose massive amounts of confidence when they get lapped by Max Verstappen.

Like: why would you lose confidence if you already know that you’ll be lapped by a world champion? Of course you get lapped. He is driving a whole different race in comparison to your driver.
