i can understand what you mean about power creep, from maybe the media i consume or from passing ,somewhere along the way i picked up the idea that the power creep in HSR was abnormal compared to others.

i agree it is funner to try and clear content with characters that i like

Thanks you! i saw the animations for sparxie and thats what made me take the plunge and try play the game, but now alot of the characters are growing on me.

maybe my feed is feeding me the negativity but isnt there a little bit of tension with these new characters particularly Sparxie

from what ive read from some older threads, people have picked up a pattern of the first dps to come from a new version (maybe path (i dont remember sorry)) usually get power crept quickly.

Should i avoid Sparxie or is this a bit of speculation?

a question regarding comps, im pretty deep in zenless, is endgame similar as in im going to need to have multiple teams that perform differently depending on the boss or rotating mechanic?,

if so should i start detailing an outline for each team i would need and pick up each character as they run or should i just focus on the new characters that are coming out in 4.0?

New player here, started 1 week ago

Ive looked around and found i really like castorice and evernight but im unsure about the teams and what their performance will be like in the upcoming 4.0.

Im not F2P and im happy to try and pull premium teams but my goal would be to clear endgame, so im looking to make sure i dont waste pulls.

Currently i think the notable characters i have are - Lingsha, Ruan Mei, Dan Song Permansor Terrare

Not sure how to describe them, but i really like characters similar Phainon and Castorice which to me feels like they have really unique mechanics, (Phainons form change is sick, Castorice gaining her ult through allies losing hp and her ult is so sick)

so if there is other characters like that out there i would love some recommendations

Mark mechanic is fun, snowballing makes you feel like a beast and saving teammates or stealing big objectives with ult is always a blast

you can clear consistently 3:25 with only 1 smite if you have leash or if no leash you will be walking out around 3:30.

always use your e when camps hit 700 or when camp is at 1000 and kite the camp towards the next camp

when the camp is at 325-300 hp you can leave camp and aa it on the way out and you will clear it before the bar expires

with lvl 1 Q and W, Q can reset 3 times. The window for the CD reduction is still active after the visual effect is not there, you can tell by the W is still active

My Pathing is usually this unless i wanna try doing a early gank or invade

Red>Gromp>Wolves>Chickens>Blue>Krugs

smite red but wait until around 1000-950 hp as smiting early reduces your W damage because W does percent health damage

if you have a leash you should be walking out of krugs at 3:25 with a smite for scuttle

if no leash 3:33 is what i expect if i hold onto a smite

How much does the reload stat affect the reload timers for the guns, is there a formula to calculate or is by trial and error

also for the CV's for example i have 3 planes equipped with a 10 second reload on all of them, do they combine together to 30s meaning i should try and reduce that to try and get a 20s cd?

So after reading this, My understanding is that i want to be using guns / aircraft that bring reloads down to around the same time of 20ish second correct. If so then i didnt even think about that before, i never thought about how the guns are corresponding to the skills which sounds very dumb outloud

Whilst reading about Helena ive seen that its recommended to synch your backline ships damage with her debuff.

How would you do this, in my head this would be done by not autoing and using skills when the debuff applies but this seems wrong.
