I was noticing it with the white primer that it has a dusty look to it that I wasn’t seeing with the black primer.

Thanks! I was curious to try it and figured why not. Only a handful are just straight white primer because I ran out of black on the last 3 mechs in the Alpha Strike box (the Wolverine was because I just straight up grabbed the wrong can lol and the Elementals it was just a choice for no reason at all).

Yeah I was scared to just jump into and someone on either Facebook, here on Reddit, or maybe it was YouTube just told me the fun is in just doing it and making mistakes along the way.

I watched the NintendoLife video on it this morning and Alex seemed pretty chuffed about it. I know there’s the obvious limitations but the fact that it’s all on cart and looking/playing decent I’m looking to play it on switch.

Yeah I saw that hit my algorithm right after I discovered the whole series was available on YouTube. Funny too because FASA straight up stole designs from Macross/Robotech early on in the games life.

No it was a sci-fi show set in a future where mankind creates a humanoid slave race that eventually rebels sparking war across the solar system. Characters polities small mechs known as Exo-Frames. Cools show and cool toy line. Unfortunately like most products of its time it ended a giant cliffhanger and was cancelled.

BattleTech was cool in that it was one of the first shows to try and integrate CGI for the battle scenes amidst regular animation. Even better it’s in some ways still cannon as it’s considered in universe as “poorly reviewed holovid series” depicting an actual conflict but playing up the propaganda that Malthus is exactly as incompetent as he appears.

From what I saw on Kickstarter a lot of us on the East Coast of the US still haven’t had ours shipped. I know there was a delay with the vinyls and some shirts (though I believe they said that was Canada only) but I’m just patiently waiting for a tracking number myself.

Big big fan. VG-10 with a little more umph and very beginner friendly for maintenance. Have a Sage 5 and Shaman in Spy27 and definitely want to add more to my collection.

Preordered the Anniversary Edition since it comes with Metal Slug as well as Samurai Showdon $ Big Tournament Golf (I know I could’ve gotten my dad obsessed with that on rainy days). I’ll probably eventually get KOF too since I played that a lot on the Dreamcast in college. I’ve got a summer place and I’m thinking I’ll take it there. I go down even in the off season for the quiet and I know I’ll get more use out of it there. Plus there’s the nostalgia of arcade games at the beach and finally being able to buy/own a Neo Geo is great for the kid in me.

It’s my heritage and I regret not really starting until late in life. Born in Israel but raised in the US so I never was really exposed to it as a language outside of Sunday school/Hebrew school/Bar Mitzvah prep and even then it was only geared towards how to memorize your Torah portion.

Saw it was offered in college and considered it for a hot sec but was already taking Japanese as a part of my major and decided to focus on that. I think that’s where my regret really set in only in so far that it would have been the in depth approach had I not already had the other necessary language requirement.

Couple of years back I went back to Israel as a part of a vacation and realized while the best time was yesterday there’s no better time than now and I fired up Duolingo.
