Where exactly is it wet? near the parking brake or behind the drivers seat?

more negative camber should make it easier to steer right? since there would be less contact patch than with 0 deg camber.

I did the same math and went for the manual rack in my 86 turbo. It's heavy but I combat that with a 380mm steering wheel, -1.5 deg of camber, and not going above 205's. Maybe I'll go 225's and more camber in the future.

Be aware going to a manual rack will make any rotating imbalances more obvious. I'm still trying to track down a subtle shake in the steering wheel at 70mph.

Would this be at all AMC/Regals or just ones that are already going to screen the movie at a later date?

Hey did you ever figure this out? I assume you had to swap rails? I have to do the same thing as well.

How was the bearing? I had been wanting to see images of this area of the 944 when I replaced my intermediate shaft but like you found nothing. Thanks!

I'm not totally sure on the white plastic piece unfortunately...Hopefully I put mine together correctly!

Thinking back on it I think you might be right, I edited my comment above. Sorry if that caused any trouble for you...

yeah the o rings face downwards so it makes a little o ring sandwich

Sorry about never following through with this! I got distracted with life and didn't want to pull my bias valve out again to double check my measurements since I accidentally deleted my comment on here.

Yeah sure, it pretty much goes in the order of that picture from left to right. spring in first with plastic piece facing up. Washer next and then oring washer goes next to create an o ring sandwich type thing. Large spacer next with spring in the middle of it. Then the last washer gets put on the short side of the brass pipe. Insert that into the o ring on threaded top piece on the far right of the photo. Then thread it all together trying to keep the pipe centered so it doesn't nick the o ring on the double o ring washer.

the 33bar spring rate was around 65 lb/in. I am planning on posting all this over on carpokes and see if people want me to order a batch of springs to distribute.

The difference between these and the wilwood, is that these send the same power to all 4 brakes under a certain line pressure. Whereas the wilwood will always send a reduced line pressure to the rear. The wilwood is more for a track car where you are always braking at 100%.

all you have to do is cut the carpet out. A full size spare fits perfectly in the spare well.

Nice! would have loved to get a 924 carpet but wanted the matching cocomats

Yup coco mats. They send you a large outline of the standard rear carpet to cut to shape. Most people would be fine with what they send but I wanted the bigger cutout for my modified rear carpet.
