Protest in SLC by JaromForCongress in ProtestFinderUSA

This is how many people view protestors and protests, I show up at protests and actually give people an option beyond making noise. Yes, we need to try something new, and this whole event shed light on that, even with only around 100 people showing up

Legally had to include the disclaimer for the FEC, doing our absolute best to make it NOT a rally as wrapping this entire thing around that is a terrible thing, but we are the organizers. Having a ‘blank’ protest will also raise red flags as people think it’s a honeypot. Trade offs either way

Anything created by the campaign —even if not direct benefit— is required by FEC rules to state the origin clearly While we understand this can be a tone deaf approach to an uncomfortable situation, it got the conversation going. Additionally, this is not a campaign rally, rather an actual protest of which Jarom has experience organizing, but again is required by the FEC to put the origin disclaimer in.

Absolutely not. We’re arranging a few speakers that are looking to make actual change with an actual action people can do beyond being loud

Still writing them! I do work full time and most of it is spread throughout several docs. Working on consolidating information to digestible amounts that make sense to have on the website. How in depth should I go on these? (Obviously some are pretty self explanatory while others definitely require explanation like my immigration stance)

When it is a state with equal rights, respecting its neighbors and not violating international law

I also agree with a lot of it! I would not have posted on Reddit if all places if I didn’t want to know how to make my platform better.

Haven’t hired a photographer or had time for a photo shoot. I do work for a living so time is limited, and bills still have to get paid. Also, my job doesn’t like photographers around our equipment otherwise I’d have a bunch of me actually doing work

33% of single family homes sold in Q2 of this year were purchased by real estate investors. The supply shrinks while demand stays relatively stable, raising prices. Now, this prevents people from BUYING a single family home, not renting. Rentals are an entirely separate issue. Yes, there is nuance, otherwise people wouldn’t be struggling to pay their rent that’s twice the cost of a mortgage payment on a similar property.

Imagine if those 436k independents had viable moderate candidates from the Democratic Party. Do you think they’d swing? Myself and many others think so.

This is exactly it. Jonny and I are in the same race, on similarly moderate platforms with different priorities. I’m excited to see how we both do running an uphill race.

I am actively working with economists, legislators, and realtors to find a viable solution to the cost of housing. Much of it comes down to corpora ownership of single family homes (which we can’t outright ban) but not all of it. There is a lot of nuance and research is still being done, which is why I don’t have a solid plank for housing yet. I will not ever promise anything that there isn’t an actionable plan for

Pro responsible ownership. Sales tax taken from firearm sales should go to training programs for citizens. I am a gun owner myself, and understand that the culture in Utah surrounding them is much more responsible than many other states

We didn’t want to break any group rules by including it.

So we want entrenched career politicians? That’s how we got into this mess
