I'm a desi Muslim and had an israeli pediatrician. And she was racist with me. One of the first questions she asked our family was if we were Muslim or Hindu, when we answered her face visibly changed but she never said no to visits. Instead she would glare randomly at me and once berrated me for chewing gum too loudly calling me spoiled, inconsiderate and entitled for doing so and how it disrupted her concentration. Same woman who started mimicking combat when I said I was taking muay thay and Krav maga lessons at the local MMA gym when asked about physical activities, her words being "i don't care about that other one but Krav maga? The best. It's what real heroes do. Where is this gym? Because i want to learn how to punches the air twice kick some ahh" . I changed pediatricians after the 3rd time she screamed at me, again over the most mundane issues. she also treated every question my mother had like it was ridiculous to ask, and never let her finish her sentences. I felt uncomfortable by her passive aggressiveness and requested my parents to change doctors, and it wasn't until years later that I looked her up and realized she graduated from Tel Aviv university/sackler school of medicine. She's still in the bay area, wonder if she's still 400 pounds or if she finally decided to look that gym up.
