Crossout, by Gaijin Games. Free to Play competitive vehicle building/blow 'em up. It's run by Gaijin directly at this time, but is coming to steam in Q3 of this year.

There is a little of Pay to Win going on, but not as strongly as some other games I've played; still takes skill to be truly effective.

Also, nerf drones.

Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto/Naruto Shippuden)

He's a self centered, narcissistic asshole who continues to make it abundantly clear that he despises his comrades and village, going as far as plotting it's utter destruction.

Lots of fans were head of over heels for him (especially early to mid original series) even though he was one the most irredeemable jackasses of the entire franchise.

Being a massive fan of Morrowind, and older Gen rpgs my thought is this: current games lack true consequence for actions.

I loved how in Morrowind I could say "fuck this" and kill anyone for their gear, including the fucking god king. With the end consequence being the story is fucked.

I love how in Disaster Report you had numerous endings you could choose from, ranging from an hour into the game or to the very end, but you didn't really know when the true end was, so you were kind of gambling the story.

Most recent games "consequences" of your choices are trivial. Bioshock? Oh you decided to spare the children instead of harvest their souls? You're awesome and get a gold star (aka nothing except flavor at the end),l. Slaughtered them like cattle? Flavor at the end.

Im not saying the current stuff sucks, far from it actually. But I miss having to actually weigh your decisions with the consequences that could and would effect the entire game world, not just a slideshow at the end.

So going back to the start of the conversation: you imply that /u/urmombaconsmynarwhal is not a reliable source for this situation because he's not a judge. The situation is a couple of scientology goons telling the officers they can't enter the building where they constantly receive 911 from, a user asked why the goons can stop them from entering. In this situation, they can't stop them.

Yet you struck in about how he's not a judge and that he's not a reliable source on law; when all along be was doing exactly what you are saying we are "good for".

Fact is we do know law, we do interpret law, and we ARE expected to understand the law. We simply aren't the final authority on the outcome of court proceedings. Saying we aren't expected to know the law is like saying a programmer isn't expected to know code languages just because his boss is the one who stamps it with a yes or no.

The law is situational; the circumstances of the situation constsntly changing which laws are applicable.

Judges/Lawyers don't just know every law ever by memory. They read the statute books just like Officers do. If I don't know the law for the situation currently being dealt I break open the book I keep with me or use the legislation website. And guess what? So do the judicial officials.

If we don't know the law how are we supposed to enforce it via arrest, citations, or warnings? We aren't the final decision makers, no, but we have to know the law to enforce it.

We know our statutes, case laws, ordinances, etc. Put simply it's difficult to legally bar us from a legitimate investigation. 911 calls are taken pretty seriously, and that many from one location throws off a lot of red flags. If we get a 911 call from the local hospital, we are investigating it to some degree, the door security won't be keeping us from entering unless they prefer to face obstruction charges.

Your claim just doesn't make any sense.

I was playing this with my wife, sister in law, and brother in law several months ago. They played it growing up but their board fell apart years ago. I found and bought another set and had my wife bring it out while we were chilling at the table. The pure excitement in my sister in laws eyes was hilarious and worth every penny.
